My Story

I received a Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward's University. I have extensive experience in education and working with families. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and had a long career teaching. In my teaching experience, I specialized in gifted education and worked as a classroom teacher and tutor with dyslexic readers as a Certified Academic Language Practitioner.

Personally, I have raised three children to young adulthood and have guided them in navigating college life and academic work, and mental health well-being and balance. As an experienced teacher, I have acted as a mentor for beginning teachers.

I enjoy working with individuals and helping them fulfill their potential. Through self-discovery and building self-compassion, I believe we can move to a more peaceful, intentional path toward living with curiosity and whole-hearted contentment.
